Exercise schmexercise

Right now I want to cry because watching my boyfriend do 30 Day Shred is so painful.

How did it come to this? I stepped on the scales this weekend and got a BIG shock. Big being the operative word. OMG do I need to do something about this. 

So yesterday I went back to pilates, and now I hurt SO bad. I have been a lazy bones and haven't done any pilates since May. It felt so good to be back, but my body is in a WORLD of hurt today. I do reformer pilates here. It's like this:

So fast forward to tonight. Last night, actually. Last night I mentioned getting back into doing my workout DVD and suggested to the boyfriend that we do it together. He scoffed in a way that suggested he thought workout DVDs were just dancing about for girls. He obviously hadn't met Jillian Michaels. 

Tonight I did it and he was all "ohhh, I wanna go!" so when when I was done he had a go. 

I tried to help. I got shouted at and sent away. He's currently about to break his ankles with his version of a 'lunge'. Will he accept any help or guidance? No. Even when he looks like he's about to do himself some serious damage? Nope. Not one bit.
