Belated Sunday Round-Up

This week I have mostly been:

+ Doing: changing around our living room (post to follow!)
+ Creating: a reading nook! Yes, that's far too grand a word for sticking an as-yet-unfinished chair next to a bookcase.
+ Learning: that I would happily spend all my days clearing and organising and designing other people's spaces. Ok, I already knew that, but it doesn't hurt to remind myself.
+ Eating: potatoes. My obsession continues. Vivaldi salad potatoes roasted with the skins on = divine.
+ Drinking: no alcohol! Still! Though I might end Dry January early this week as I'm staying with my folks Tuesday-Saturday and wine is an important coping strategy.
+ Wearing: the revised capsule
+ Reading: I finished Us by David Nicholls, and read Every Contact Leaves a Trace by Elanor Dymott. I'd recommend both. I'm now reading The Virgin Blue by Tracy Chevalier.  A bonus of rearranging the living room was it caused me to create a 'books I keep meaning to read' pile which I'm now working my way through. Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin is an ongoing 'dip in and out' read.
+ Listening to: the same old, same old. Can anyone recommend a good artist/group to broaden my auditory horizons?
+ Enjoying: not being ill anymore. And catching up with friends I haven't seen in a while.
+ Dreaming: about all the things I'd do to our flat if it was ours and not a rental. A girl can dream...
