An Ode to Autumn

Autumn, I bloody love you,
With your hazy skies and crunchy leaves and wood-smokey air.
You're the season of leggings and jumpers and ankle boots,
And you don't have that annoying 'I'm so hot but I can't wear shorts to the office' problem of your predecessor.
You're sunny and crisp
And for the last half of you I can legitimately listen to Christmas songs and bake and feel festive.
And this autumn I'm having a baby,
Which is pretty darn exciting, isn't it?

NB. Matt's away, and I've just spent two days on an intensive course with a fiendish exam at the end of it, which may go some way to explaining the slightly unhinged nature of this post.
